The Peaks Cabinet was my 2017 HSC Major Work.  I designed & constructed this cabinet over a period of 14 months.

I was drawn towards scandinavian design as well as the contrast of differing wood grains.

The Peaks cabinet features a veneer design mimicking mountian peaks on the drawer & cabinet fronts.

My aim was to create a seamless design that does not require handles on the cabinet faces. A push to open system was implemented instead.
