About Me

Libby Malecki Designs (LMD) is based in Sydney, NSW & was founded in 2021 after I completed my Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology at Western Sydney University.

I drive a lot of inspiration from the eclectic design styles of the Memphis Design Group, Art Deco era, Bauhaus, & Retrofuturism.

I absolutely love bold colours & find inspiration from organic shapes & curves. Although, I am partial to the simple yet sophisticated look of muted tones & natural wood grains.

After graduating uni, I found passion in the interior design space. I worked as a design consultant for 3 years within the bathroom & kitchen design, & natural stone & tile industries.

This position brought out my love for working with people as I was able to provide design-based solutions to a variety client projects.

I continue to further my design career as a freelance interior designer working alongside the founder & principal designer of Design Your Space based in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
